Mahoning County OSU Extension is hosting a Tree Pruning Clinic. The price includes either a folding saw or set of pruners (choice based on first come, first serve). Come learn to prune fruit trees, but also about brambles and blueberries. Small farm and gardening publications will be available for purchase.

When you arrive at 8 a.m., check in at the Chamber’s Community Room. There will be coffee, fruit, doughnuts and cold water, so check in, have a bite to eat and then head out to plant. Flowers, grasses and mulch will already be placed at each of the beds on Market Ave. Please bring your own gardening tools and maybe a broom. A sample bed will be planted right in front of the Chamber door so you can see how the flowerbeds should look. Place all trash at the corner after you have finished.
